Movers loaded truck but stated they needed an extra $80 to unload. Insisted on receiving cash. Was given $80 but failed to arrive to unload.

Feel terrible for the lead, Monty. He clearly knew what he was doing, but the other two people were of very little help. One of the movers showed up in slides. Poor kid was tripping all over himself. Lots of dings in walls and doorframes, as well as damage to the furniture and broken blinds in the house. Nothing that can’t be repaired, but won’t be going with this company again. I will say that communication was fantastic leading up to the move.

Unloaders placed two metal 2 dwr file cabinets directly on top of an antique blanket chest resulting in several scratches to the top of the chest. The unloaders were in a hurry and should not have placed anything on top of wood furniture without asking Owner or ensuring there was proper protection so that damage wouldn't be caused. Opened a case, sent photos to email which bounced back from an incorrect email. resent to their other email. No reply and I noticed they changed their business name from All American Movers to Powermanmoves. Still trying to reach them for resolution.

Booked this company through U-Haul. Company used contractors found through Craig’s List, they are not employees of the moving company. Contractors are not licensed, bonded, or insured. Company sent contractors to the delivery (unloading) address, not the originating (loading) address. Contractors arrived by Lyft (no independent transportation) at the unloading address and I had to pick them up and drive them to the loading address. Company refused to cover damages (breakage) to base of small electric piano stating ‘Well for one we don't move pianos. For two they are independent movers anything they damage they would be responsible for’. Company representatives unprofessional in communication by phone and text. They are a less expensive option but don’t expect customer service or any responsibility if or when things break or go wrong.

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. They half completed the loading job at our old house and then didn't show up for the unloading job. I have yet to receive any form of communication from anyone about a refund for either service. I have called a dozen times. Texted numerous (which every text has been read, but not responded to) times. And emailed a couple times. Have not received any form of communication back. Do not hire this company!!!!!!!!

DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS! They no-showed. They over-booked themselves and were not able to make it to the scheduled appointment. They were kind enough to make it to my new place 4 hours later to help unload the truck. The guys showed up visibly high with what appeared to be a girlfriend in her pajamas. Whoever is managing the phone for this place will not answer calls but will sometimes respond to texts. I would not recommend them or hire them again. Good luck to you if you choose them.

A dispatcher called us mid move demanding the payment code, which I did not give them until the end. The movers were dragging their feet and seemed inexperienced and complained the whole time.
