The movers completed the job in 10 minutes. When I went outside to look at how the U Box was packed, I noticed that heavy boxes were placed on top of lighter, fragile boxes and the boxes were stacked with the larger boxes on top of smaller boxes. I also noticed large holes or gaps in the way the U Box was packed. Unfortunately, I didn’t want to pay for the services because I felt the box was loaded improperly, especially for a long distance move. But, I felt they did load it, so some compensation should be given to them. I tried to reach out to the owner and resolve the issue, but he was adamant about how he packed everything professionally. Of course, I took pics of the U Box packed by him and packed by me, after I unloaded the entire container and repacked it. Although the men were extremely nice and pleasant, the job performed was less than acceptable. I will seek reimbursement from my credit card company.
