The night before my move, I received a call stating they were going to need n extra helper based on my furniture. Mind you, I had a marble dining table, a dresser and armoire. That was al of the heavy furniture. I had a 1bdrm with storage. They were late. Took them 2.6 hours to load boxes. At that point I had 36 min left of our agreement and they hadn't moved any furniture. I asked if we would get everything loaded today. When all said and done 4 hrs. Unbeknownst to me, I was being charged an additional hour on top of the additional helper. I provided bedding covers to cover the furniture. I was assured, by the owner who personally strapped in my furniture, that it wasn't going anywhere. I was doing a straight shot from Chicago to Texas. We arrived in Chicago for another company to unload. Marble top damaged, armoire damaged, TV stand damaged, book case damaged. All of the under covering of bed, 2 ottomans, and couch are ripped due to furniture being loaded on top.
