I'm comparing my experience to hiring movers two years ago to this move. Communication was great. The movers were professional and courteous. However, they were about an hour late because their previous move went longer and they got stuck in Maryland and DC traffic. They did call to tell me that the movers were delayed. My previous movers were early and a I moved on a Saturday, just like this time. In terms of managing customer expectations, it would have been helpful to know that there could have been up to an hour delay. Just wasn't expecting that outcome.

The movers were fantastic! We worked with Lorenzo and Carlon, who were so helpful. We got everything loaded and unloaded in less than 3 hours. Would highly recommend, and will use them next time we move!
