Moving older health challenged person, no electric in trailer & stuff had bad odor. Mostly furniture. I still expected professionalism. Lot of yard ornaments & concrete stepping stones wanted but lower priority. I felt like two of the 3 guys did not want to have to do the yard stuff. I have never had movers load a truck as poorly. A 26 foot truck only loaded one layer of furniture. I have many many years of experience with movers & I know how to load a truck. I called the owner, was told he would make it right. They were going to drop first load to storage & come back for second load. They did not initially come back. Owner called me said they reported in said job was done and hours expired. I told him job was not done. Only one load was taken to storage and unloaded. It was not until I told them I had planned to tip them did they agree to take the few remaining items in trailer. Only some chairs were taken from outside. Lies were being told unsure from whom. Carl was great!

The 3mad team was great! The arrived and got to work immediately, having my truck fully unpacked and moved in 30 min earlier than the 2hr I booked them for. No damage or missing items and would highly recommend

I've used Big Helpful Gentlemen for the past 2 moves and I'm not sure what happened this time but the service quality went down. The first issue was our move being delayed by an entire day due to mechanical issues with truck for team assigned to us and inability to have another team help us move until next day. We were not initially contacted and only found out after calling to get an ETA because it was past the arrival window we were told to expect. From there it seemed like we had to consistently reach out for updates instead of them updating us. It seems like company is scaling up which should be great however Ben who we've worked with both times before and is great was only coordinating assigned moving team this time. Moving team we were assigned a younger and older gentleman, did not demonstrate same level of knowledge, professionalism or quality of loading U-haul box.
