I can’t say enough good things about this company. Have never used movers before so we had no idea what to expect. The whole experience exceeded any preconceived notions I had! Marshall, Alba, and D were amazing from start to finish. They communicated well, took great care with our items and were very personable. Hire this guys, you won’t be sorry.

DO NOT USE HANDY HANDS Moved from NY to SC, hired Handy Hands (HH) to load truck in NY. Team showed up, walked thru house and left unannounced. HH sent new team. As individuals, they were nice, however they used zero protection on furniture. Per HH request, ordered 48 UHaul blankets (HH requested I get at least 24) as well as 2 rolls of wrap (per HH). Movers used 6 blankets another 6 rolled up to fill truck space. The remaining blankets were still folded and left in truck. No wrap was used. Upon arrival, SC team of movers commented how horribly the truck was packed and notified us prior to unloading we should expect serious damage. This prediction was very correct. Not a single piece of furniture escaped unharmed. Not enough space in review to detail damage -- just note this was our 7th move, first poor experience. Contacted HH and asked us to take pictures as they'd file an insurance claim. Since sending pics to show extent of damage - zero response from HH. Horrible experience.

Helping Hands was very accommodating to change the unload date from the 7th to the 8th due to weather. It poured all day at my house. To unload the furniture and equipment in that rain would have been detrimental to the items and potentially the workers. With that being said, the workers were 25 minutes late in arriving at the scheduled time. The lead, James, did call and stated they got caught up in some traffic and were about 15 minutes out. That call about 10 minutes past the scheduled arrival time. Once on site, the team worked efficiently to unload the truck. The team also helped us by moving the furniture we had taken off the truck on Saturday and moved it to locations we had asked for. Very helpful. Prior to leaving, they asked if there was anything else they could do for us. I would recommend Helping Hands to assist with any move you may have.
