We contacted Mary and Brothers because the other company we hired over a week in advance canceled the morning of the job. Mary confirmed promptly and sent text updates notifying us of updated time of arrival. The two gentlemen assisting us could not have been nicer. Excellent workers.

I hired two movers for two hours to move furniture and load a truck. The movers were 2 hours late. They called me a half hour after their scheduled arrival to tell me they would be late since one of them had a hard time getting going. I could understand that if the operator would’ve told me a morning appointment wouldn’t be possible due to the movers traveling from an hour and a half away. I booked them two days prior to my move and their phone operator told me she would confirm with me the day before to schedule a time. If I wasn’t proactive and called, then I don’t think I would ever gotten a confirmation. The movers were polite a courteous during the move, but they are definitely novice movers. They would be good for moving into a place, but not out. I had to spend time rearranging my truck since things did not seem stable. Fragile boxes were put on their side instead of right side up. This really seems like a side hustle business, and not a priority.
