What if I do not hear from the Moving Helper after my order is placed?

You should contact your Moving Helper directly using the contact information provided on your order confirmation. Moving Helpers™ are often out on other jobs and may not respond immediately. If you do not receive a response within 24 hours, please visit the resolution center of our website and let us know.

What if a Moving Helper accepts the order but does not show up on the scheduled day?

We recommend you contact the Moving Helper the day before the job to confirm all service details. If the Moving Helper does not show up the day of the job, call them directly to determine if they are running late on a previous job. What happens if a Moving Helper damages my property during the move?

Customer reviews ensure that problems are extremely rare. Any possible damages should be worked out immediately with the Moving Helper. We recommend that you give out the Payment Code only when the issue has been resolved to your total satisfaction. This is to ensure that you are fully aware of all costs before you make your purchase.

How many hours of Moving Help do I need?

Our quick estimate is a starting point for the total number of hours you may require. If you have especially bulky or heavy items or any specialty items such as a piano, we recommend you increase your hours accordingly. Stairs, furniture that will need disassembling before loading or having boxes and furniture unloaded in specific rooms are some other factors that will increase your total job time. Based on the size of your move, anywhere from 2-8 hours usually gets the job done.

Why is there a minimum service of two hours?

Our experience shows that most Moving Help jobs require a minimum of two hours when the job is carefully done. It is not economically feasible for Moving Helpers™ to take jobs smaller than two hours.

What happens if the service takes longer than what I paid for?

No problem! We recommend you contact Customer Support at 1-866-748-4110 to place another order or you may work out the additional amount with the Moving Helper and pay them directly.

What happens if a job is completed in less time than originally requested?

Ask your Moving Helper what other work they are willing to do. Moving Helpers™ are compensated for the preset amount of time you purchased regardless of the actual time taken to perform the service. Take advantage of your “bonus time” and have your Moving Helpers™ do additional work at your new home that you otherwise would have had to do yourself.

Payments, Changes, and Cancellations

What is a payment code?

The Payment Code is your assurance that the service will be completed correctly. Once you are totally satisfied that the work is completed as agreed, give the Payment Code to your Moving Helper and authorize us to release payment.

What if I misplace or lose the payment code?

Simply click the Customer Service tab and follow the instructions to retrieve your Payment Code, Moving Helper contact information and other order details.

How do I make changes to my Moving Help order?

Please contact the Moving Helper(s) directly to make any necessary changes. Contact information for the Moving Helper can be found on your order-confirmation email.

How do I cancel my Moving Help order?

You can cancel your order by filling out the form in the Customer Service section of our website. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to post to your account.

Can I tip a Moving Helper?

Yes, however the best way to reward a Moving Helper is with a five-star review. In addition to giving a great review, tipping is not encouraged unless you truly feel the moving labor requires it.
