We booked movers to help with the furniture and some stuff in the garage we already moved over half our stuff and after several moves as a family of 5, we know typically how long it takes, having done it ourselves and hiring professionals several times. I don’t mean to be rude but these guys were not at all professionals. They packed the truck terribly and left several things behind. They went so slow and my husband caught them just sitting in their car at one point. Our dresser was severely chipped of paint afterwards and we have moved 3 times with it and never had that occur. Again, I’m not trying to be rude. We did Venmo tip them to be nice. But they should have had an adult professional with them to guide them and keep them moving. It kind of felt like a waste of money because my husband ended up chipping in lots of help after he hurt his back and we wanted to avoid that.
