Our start was delayed by nearly 2hrs because the prior job ran long. The 2 movers who arrived were motivated but it quickly became clear the lead mover was relatively new to moving, and the 2nd was not a regular and was filling in. The lead largely did the physical labor solo, while the other primarily directed. This meant they mostly focused on smaller items. It made the move much slower than expected, and some furniture sustained minor scratches. After we expressed concerns, Lee sent a 3rd mover as replacement who was more experienced. Once he arrived, he and the original lead mover worked efficiently as a duo and completed the rest of the job quickly. We appreciate their effort and Lee's responsiveness. However, we would have preferred being told movers were unavailable rather than being asked to pay extra for a 3rd mover to finish the job. We recommend ensuring at least 1 seasoned mover is assigned to every move and gathering more detailed information to better staff the job.

One of two the workers showed up 90 minutes late due to miscommunication by the company owner. The owner apologized, and the time began when the second worker arrived which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the movers were not well experienced, and we had to help throughout the process with wrapping and even lifting things. One piece was damaged after it was dropped down a couple of steps and hardwood floor was scratched due to the furniture being dragged. The movers did stay late to help us complete the project which we appreciated. Unfortunately, due to the extra stress and lack of experience of the movers, we will not be using this company again. They will be appropriate moving small things, boxes but I would recommend going with a more experienced mover for large, heavier, furniture items.

The gentlemen from Carolina Moving Services were extremely polite and professional, and made sure all items and boxes went into the rooms we wanted them in. They communicated well in advance to schedule a time.

Movers were polite, hardworking, and listened to the needs I had. They fit all my items in the truck, using precision, experience, and their eye for what should go in the truck first. It was hot and humid and they did not complain once. Excellent experience with the movers once they arrived. I wanted an 8 am start time, they arrived at about 820. The only kind of scary part was at 805 when they had not showed and I called the carolina movers business phone number. No one answered and the voicemail box was full. That was scary because I didn't know if anyone was going to show up or how to get in touch with anyone given they didn't answer the phone and the mailbox was full. Yet, an employee called me back in about 10 minutes.
