First, let me say how flexible HWC was. I had to reschedule numerous times, and they were fantastic. The team that showed up at my place today was great, but they arrived 1.5 hours late due to a scheduling issue with one of the workers. Since I had been so dynamic with my timing, I didn't care, but they did give me 19 minutes of notice. Due to the limitations of the U-Haul MovingHelp system, I reached out to the team to let them know I would need an additional mover, and the based on my information, the manager asked if I needed 2 or 3 hours. We went with his suggestion of three hours, which come to find out, increased by total cost by $285, which I had to pay via Venmo to one of the movers' personal Venmos. They finished in well under 2 hours, but still charged me for the full three after upselling me that morning over the phone. Additionally, the movers left the U-Haul truck a complete mess with empty water bottles and the moving blankets strewn across the back and the street.
