The guys worked very hard and were able to move everything with a very tight fit in a slightly too small truck. They were careful with my stuff and navigated a very tight staircase. There was a bit of an argument toward the end about the stairs at the destination location. I'd communicated in advance it was one flight of stairs, since it's a second floor apartment. There was a disagreement about the definition of what a flight of stairs means. I guess it could be considered 1.5 flights of stairs since there's half a flight to get to the first floor apartment door, and an additional flight to get to the second floor apartment door. Just seemed like an odd thing to make a big deal over, since they asked me multiple times to leave a 5 star review. I tried to give both movers a $20 tip each but one of them refused due to the stairs argument. I wish them both the best of success in their future endeavors.

Haul Hero is run by BK, who is an expert mover. He helped us move from a condo to a new house last week, in the middle of a snow storm. To begin, uhaul screwed me and only gave me a 20ft truck when I needed 26ft. BK played tetris expertly and got everything to fit in the 20ft truck, with literal inches to spare. Unloading was also great. There was a lot of snow and mud outside our house, and his team made managed to keep everything spotless and damage-free - he clearly paid extra attention to ensure every piece of furniture was moved carefully. Keep in mind, this is all within the 3hrs I reserved (and the drive between places was 30min). You cannot beat Haul Hero, especially considering the affordable price.
