They didn’t bring enough movers, there were only two. The owner originally thought it would only take a couple hours and it took over six hours. They tried hard to make everything fit in the U boxes, but when it didn’t, they lost her temper and acted out on me and my wife. They wanted more money and for me to call U-Haul to give them more money+time. I appreciated the effort to try to make everything fit, but not the unprofessionalism and anger that took them so long. I gave them a good tip to compensate for their trouble, but they texted me later that night, angry that they didn’t get paid more. The owner acted like he didn’t know it was a lump sum, set price with U-Haul per container. Plus, they broke stuff and got stuff dirty and didn’t use the blankets properly. They could have disassembled things to make it fit better, but they did not want any advice from me. I Tipped them in cash. I’ll give them a B- for effort but an F for professionalism.

Justin was ill equipped for the job. Many times he struggled to get the gunsafe into the moving vehicle. One time I had to personally assist his helper pull it off of him. Moving blankets and supplies were provided to him however he rarely used them. He kept saying he moved multiple thousand dollar chandeliers and implying he was an expert. He and his helper damaged multiple family heirloom furniture pieces. One such piece of furniture was damaged with white paint on it and left the door way to the home damaged as well. I asked about how it was being loaded and he said he was making a wall. A wardrobe he brought down the door broke off. When his crew he sent to the unload point; they were ill equipped as well. One of the movers let one of my gunsafes roll down the truck ramp and hit the driveway causing tons of damage to the safe. I request reimbursement for the damages. I already tried to seek reimbursement personally and was denied. I hope that this can be resolved outside court.
