Could not have had a better experience. The call ahead of moving day to confirm details was extremely thorough and transparent. She explained based on the details of my specific needs that I might need to be prepared for an extension but that the guys work quickly and they would try to avoid that at all possible (I very much appreciated the honesty after a recent nightmare experience with a separate long distance moving company that came with a lot of hidden costs). They worked very quickly and managed to finish in the original time I had scheduled for, so no extension was needed afterall. I would use them again and would recommend them.

The first helper to show up was professional, hardworking, and very helpful. His helper was a younger guy and he was not. The younger guy stayed on his phone, was taking his time (dragging his feet), and complained pretty much continuously. I felt bad for the other mover having to do most of the work and trying to keep the young guy on track. I have used Smooth Movers 3 times now, but I think this will be my last time. Most of my belongings were moved with care and were relocated undamaged, but I did have one of my expensive cat trees broken when they were moving it to the truck to load.
