B&B Moving

I had hopes that this would be a smooth move. I worked very hard to pack and box everything in an orderly fashion and knew exactly how the truck would be packed up. The communication from the booking to the time the guys showed up was practically nonexistent. The manager was very dismissive every time he finally answered his phone. The two workers were very sloppy in handling my few pieces of furniture, and even though I provides plastic covers for three bean bag chairs and blankets for a yellow chair, the yellow chair looks to have been dragged through the dirt and mud, because it arrived at the destination with mud and dirt stain all over one side of it, the matching ottoman was also stained with grime. It’s going to be very difficult to get them cleaned and I may be forced to throw it out. Also, even though it took about a half hour to load the truck, in their rush to finish they forgot to load my lamp and a few other items, while loading rings I had told them I was throwing away.

Im very unhappy with the services provided to my elderly parents during their move yesterday. The movers were supposed to arrive at noon and instead arrived at 1240 PM. They only helped them move for not even three hours (I paid for 4 hours) because I gave them the code to get paid at 334 PM after my dad called me for the code, not knowing that they arrived at 1240 pm. U-Haul gave my parents a 20 foot truck and it did not fit all of their items but their new location was only 10 minutes away, so there was time to empty the truck and come back and load up the last few chairs and side tables and lamps that were left to bring back to their new home. The men that arrived told them that they would come back after their next job, but they never did because they were already paid. U-Haul do not contract with this mover any longer. They did not do what they were paid to do.
