Worst moving company we’ve experienced. We’ve hired several over the past 20 years to move our homes and businesses and hadn’t experienced this level of unprofessionalism before JAT Moving. The owner contacted us the morning of the move to say they’d be 2.5 hour late. Initially it wasn’t a problem, however they were 5 hours late. We scheduled (and paid for) 2 movers to load everything. Only one, the owner, arrived. He did keep me updated on his ETA throughout the day. However after he arrived it felt like an inconvenience for him if I tried to communicate, because he immediately put earbuds in. So he’d have to stop what he was doing and remove them to hear if I tried to talk to him. The 2nd mover finally showed up an hour or so later but our belongings still weren’t loaded or secured properly. Almost all of the furniture is badly damaged, and our TV and coffee table are damaged beyond repair.

They came in complaining that my stuff wasn’t going to fit in my truck. They totally were wrong, but wasted 30 minutes of my time complaining. My daughter watched one of my boxes fall off of their cart and heard things break. It was a box of my picture frames ALL the glass is broken on ALL my frames. The thing that really makes me mad is that they lied to my face when I asked them about it. They told me, NO WE DID NOT DROP A BOX WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT WE SCUFFED A FRAME BUT WE DID NOT DROP A BOX, but I have a box of broken glass to prove it and pictures of the damaged frames. I am VERY upset that they lied to me. I can send the photos of the damaged frames. I also had to rearrange the truck because they had stacked heavy boxes on top of the light boxes and the boxes were collapsing.
