Boxes were delivered a day and half late, driver needed help backing up trailer i had to hook up my truck and do it, i asked for more time because boxes were late and was told id be charged $50 a day

I booked through U-Haul Moving Help and prepaid for 2 workers for 2 hours. What I got was one of the most unsettling experiences I have had. The worker arrived with an unhoused woman he had picked up the night before, who became severely ill in my bathroom while my computers and personal items were stored there unattended. I am a 53-year-old woman living alone. I called the company. No answer. Mailbox full. The owner eventually called back, acknowledged the situation, and then asked me not to cancel because of his personal circumstances. The remaining worker did not know how to operate the truck ramp. The owner drove out an hour later to supervise. I was charged for 2 workers and received 1, along with a health and safety incident in my home and zero accountability. Do not book this company.

The owner Joseph was very helpful through the whole process. He made things very transparent and worked with me and my work schedule as we navigated through Uhaul messing up my reservation and not being able to accommodate my initial request. He made it very clear from the beginning that he’d take care of us and he did just that! Definitely recommend!
