Family Movers are great! They packed and loaded all my items with care; the other movers who unloaded the truck even complimented the packing job that Family Movers had done! While the movers were cordial, I had a few key issues. 1) They showed up an hour late, causing me to have to scramble to adjust my u-haul rental time. 2) They came from another job (which is why they were late) and pressured me to use 3 movers (Even though I only requested 2). They all showed up, and said they needed 3 for the earlier job, and that it would go faster with 3 people. I didn't feel comfortable to say no 3) They ended up taking significantly longer with 3 people. It was very frustrating. I was only moving .25 mile away and said we should make mutliple trips. But they insisted on trying to get everything crammed into the uhaul for one trip, taking 4 hours just to pack a few rooms 4) They ended up forgetting things (like an entire bed and dining table). 5) I had to pay for the extra time even though I bought them dinner and they took a 30 minute break to eat. Overall, I ended up spending an extra $335 over what I was quoted (almost double). Will not use again

These guys we great. Worked really hard and got the job done ahead of time. I needed them to help unload the truck into apartment. They were careful with handling my property and did not damage anything. They helped identify damaged caused by previous movers that were loading the truck. Even offered to help fix the furniture which I greatly appreciated. Very mindful, professional and helpful. Would definitely go with them on my next move.

The two brothers who helped us move in were kind, friendly, professional, efficient, and were very respectful of our items as they were moving them. I felt that they were using great care when transporting items, both to my personal property but also making sure to not injure in the walls of the apartment during the move. I had a great experience and would hire through this company again.
