I got scammed and overcharged for an additional hour. They charged me 75 per person because they said they were on personal time after the two hours was up. They told me in the beginning it may take more time and I asked upfront what the charge would be.The mover Antonio said don’t worry about it. I asked if we could just focus on large furniture and we would get the boxes later so we could stay within the time frame. He kept saying don’t worry. At the end of the two hours, he asked me for the payment code and then he told me he and the other mover Anthony were on personal time. He said it would be 75 per person plus tip. I was stuck and panicked. I paid them on a personal Venmo just so my mom and I weren’t stuck with a U-Haul we couldn’t unload ourselves. I called Sean later to discuss what didn’t feel like protocol. He profusely apologized and said that wasn’t how he did business and he would refund. No refund.He has ghosted me after a month. Absolutely terrible experience
