Movers showed up without equipment to move a piano which was indicated in the order. A company I used in Vancouver to load the truck came with all the equipment and even gave us free straps to secure the piano. Movers were chatting up my wife in the apartment which made her uncomfortable as they asked a lot about her background. Pace was slow and they told me they were not use to physical work. They left large pieces of furniture saying it wouldn’t fit at first, then asked for more money as they were going over time. I had no choice but to agree as the large pieces were left out. I was asked to do interact transfer to the mover’s personal account. I declined and asked for official payment link. The supervisor called me and said it was ok to do the transfer after he sent a U-Haul pay link (which did not work). I was then told the only way was the interact transfer. I asked for a receipt and was promised one. 2 weeks and no receipt after multiple calls and emails. My calls go unanswered.

Movers were 20 minutes late, which affected my move in inspection appointment. They didn’t have a sense of urgency and took two hours to load a 1 bedroom apt into the truck (with my help). They were booked for another job right after mine. I strongly suggest not booking them back to back in case there are delays on an extra hour is needed. They left me alone to unload the entire truck which took me 3 hours. I was exhausted by the time it was done. To top it all up, he left with one of my brand new fobs that I had just been given by the manager and cost $60 each.
