I thought I was hiring skilled packers to help with packing our belongings. It was obvious this was not an experienced team when I saw one team member loading a stack of glass plates and bowls directly in a box. I was about to ask about this method when another packer provided guidance on how to pack dishes. Other signs of inexperience were rooms, closets, and pantry's being skipped; 2 packers in a cramped room together (I asked one of the packers go to a different room to pack items). When I informed Cap City management of the slow progress about halfway through the day, they were not interested in constructive feedback but were full of excuses. He reminded me that he asked if I wanted a third packer (if he had informed me one of the packers was new, I may have asked for an experienced packer for the trainee to shadow). The packing crew was professional and did try to do a good job but after dealing with management, it is obvious the crews perform as well as management equips them.
