My move went smoothly overall, but I have to give lower stars for communication and accountability. Two of my wooden plant shelves were mistakenly thrown away during the move, and when I called to ask about them, the response was completely brushed off. I specifically asked about the wood from my bed frame that was outside my door, and they confirmed they took it, but somehow my shelves are gone. I never authorized them to throw anything away. I made sure to pay for the extra hour, even after a system issue, because I believe in fairness. But I’m extremely disappointed that my concern wasn’t taken seriously. At minimum, I expected acknowledgment or a partial discount for the loss. The movers did a great job otherwise, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Please take better care of customers’ belongings and communicate honestly when mistakes happen, as I did when the system had an issue.
