After I explained the job before I committed to service, the movers had no clue how to take direction or lead. I had to continue to ask them to help me as they were on their cell phones. Every half hour they told me how much time I had left to use. No sense of leverage and thus I was concerned they would get hurt. Bottom line, no interest in using them ever again. We did not make any progress on the move.

Gentle Giants are miracle workers!! Forever grateful how they came through repeatedly from start to finish on an extended job! Highly recommended!! Moving is stressful enough! + long-distance out-of-state + U-Box limitations (1.5 rooms? HALF a room is more like it!) I was in panic! Gentle Giants had solutions! Rent a U-Haul truck (told me which size); load-up truck, then unload-load into additional U-Boxes at the U-Box warehouse. Sounds counter-intuitive but this solution works! With a truck they’re organizing as loading; simple 'cut & paste' into U-Boxes. '1 moving day into 5 U-Boxes' became 4.5 days & 13 U-Boxes, but we got EVERYTHING in the end! Focused on loading last truck Sunday, parked outside U-Box warehouse overnight. Monday morning, returned for unload-load into the last 3 U-Boxes, then return truck to U-Haul. Mission accomplished!! Gentle Giants came through from start to finish & I’m forever grateful for their dedication, know-how, hard work, and going above & beyond!

We enjoyed working with Ernst and Michael. They were both strong and efficient at unloading our truck. They also gave us a few laughs and were friendly and fun to work with. We appreciated them waiting for our truck to arrive as we had a delay in travels. They seemed to be fine with the wait and were ready to unload our stuff upon arrival.

I ordered 2 movers for 2 hours. They brought 5 total movers. They got everything in the house really fast and carefully. We had to do a second trip and they drove to my old place to help me load and back to the new place to unload.
