For the price I didn’t expect much. They did the job in an Acceptable way to - which was bringing a Ubox, loading it and taking it back to the storage. Nice and friendly people. They can improve on furniture handling and general professionalism.

Fantastic communication and very dedicated movers. Worked magic with U-Haul reps to ensure move happened on scheduled day despite miscommunication regarding loading vs. unloading. Highly efficient at unloading and moving despite late night + restrictions of apartment complex. Two recommendations - 1. Ensure everyone is clear on whether the job is a load or unload. U-Haul doesn't seem to want to initiate loads too late in the day since the boxes may be returned after closing. Unloads are different since the empty boxes can be left at the closed facility. This distinction caused significant stress across all parties (and, if it hadn't been for Edward's quick thinking, a 3-day delay) during my move and could have been cleared up with a single sentence on the day before the move. 2. Moving team did not have any equipment to help with move (dolly, carts, gloves, moving straps, etc.). Luckily my apartment had some old carts but these should really be provided as standard kit for your movers.

Storage Bros had to pick up my U-pod at a different location than planned, which was U-Haul's mistake, not theirs... HOWEVER... I received ZERO communication about the issue and spent 2 hours trying to call and text Storage Bros when no one showed up at the appointed time. I got no response to any calls or texts and had to work through U-Haul's customer service to get to the Move Help support line, which had a 50+min wait time to answer calls. when I finally got through to an agent, she was able to call Storage Bros and they picked up immediately and explained the issue and promised to contact me to let me know that the driver was enroute. Ultimately, they did show up with my moving pod but hours later than planned (which matters when you have to vacate an apartment by a certain time that day!!) and the lack of communication made for a very stressful day. The crew helped load the pod as an apology and the guys were great when they finally arrived, but overall I'd look for better comms.
