The manager was a little slow to confirm the reservation, but he did eventually with plenty of time before the move. The guys showed up on time and made short work of loading the truck, despite their manager being in hospital. Can’t beat their price. Would use the service again, highly recommend.

Zack and his friend (whose name I don’t recall) are great guys. They were very polite and professional. For some personal reason, my move took longer than I anticipated, and they completed the job without any complaints. Thank you guys. The only area for improvement would be confirming the start time at least a few days in advance of the move.

The guys did an excellent job loading the truck for us. The kept us up to date prior to their arrival and wasted no time getting started after a quick discussion of what we wanted to load on the truck. The guys were very polite and professional throughout the loading.

Labour capacity was very good. Two tall, fast-working movers. Communication showed gaps. Questions asked beforehand were not answered quickly or fully. Using their formula for moving, we arrived at a 7 hour estimate. I asked if the move actually took 5 hours, would I pay for 7 hours. The answer was that the estimate was accurate. The move took 5.5 hours and I was charged the full amount. My son, whose move it was, added a $100 tip as the movers were courteous and personable. I had rented 30 furniture pads but these went unused. One item of furniture was sharply scratched as a result. With better communication at the outset, I would know that these movers needed neither furniture pads nor dollies, and that the estimate was the contract, not the true hours for the move. UHaul says this is industry practice, by the way. So this is not on the movers. UHaul has this responsibility also then. Why do we need buyer beware when a little information at the front end would help?

The boys were very sweet and no obstacle phased them in any way. They were very willing to work around whatever challenges they faced and made those obstacles seem like no big deal at all. They were quick without being too quick as to be careless and they seemed to have handled everything with care. They genuinely seemed to care about doing a good job. As a few others mentioned, the communication could have been better but at the end of the day, they were lovely people and got the job done and done well. Better than any movers I’ve had previously and I’ve had a lot lol. Really appreciate the help!
