Had an absolutely unacceptable experience with this company. I wasted an entire day sitting in an empty apartment because of their complete incompetence and total lack of communication. They gave me multiple time windows, missed every single one, and then went completely silent for hours at a time. When they finally bothered to respond, they casually told me that their earlier job ran late and that they would not be coming at all. No apology. No solution. No accountability. Instead, they said they would - quote - try to fit me in the next day — with no real commitment and zero resolution. This is beyond bad service. This is reckless scheduling, dishonest communication, and total disregard for their customers’ time and lives. If you value your time, your sanity, or your move, do not use this company. Avoid at all costs!!!

The moving company communicated well and was willing to change my original service day. However, they only sent ONE person to move all the items I had in my box. There were several very heavy pieces that needed two people to carry it. He also nearly gave me a heart attack when he placed a dresser with a ton of fragile items upside down in a dolly. I packed the dresser expecting at least two people to carry it in upright, so I nearly fainted when I saw it. I was very worried about my items making it inside in one piece. Thankfully nothing was broken, but I think that is more from luck than skill.

Movers were scheduled to arrive at 11am, they arrived at 1pm. This delayed us because we had only reserved the elevator for 2 hours (11-1pm). Leading up to this, there was poor communication. This set us behind on our move. To top it off, as I paid the mover flashed me his texts with his boss where I could see that he’d talked about how I wasn’t cool with the delay (I guess he was right - I was very upset). Once they arrived, everything was fine and normal. But again, that delay and the poor communication really made our move very difficult.

I was contacted by the owner the morning the movers were coming to load my cube saying they do not know why U-Haul allowed them to be selected as they do not service NW Indiana. That said, he said he would make it right and he did. He arrived personally and moved everything within the 2 hour window. U-Haul, get it together!! Bowzzer movers, you are a rock star!!

Eric and his colleague were very prompt and professional. Once the service request was booked, they responded promptly and arrived at the location on time. They were efficient and diligent with the loading and unloading of furniture. I am very satisfied with the service and would recommend them to my family and friends.
