The Alliance team arrived at the loading site on schedule. Alliance assisted the storage facility management remove lock because we didn’t have a key. Our truck was loaded within the allotted and both members of the Alliance were very personable and professional. I would definitely hire them again!

Above. And. Beyond. We were genuinely thrilled with how helpful Amin and his partner whose name I can’t remember, sorry. They even helped us move the furniture and place the rug when we were trying to figure out the best room configuration. Literally said that’s what we are here for. They helped make what could be a tough day very fun!

One mover was excellent, the other was too often in a rush, and sometimes stacked items on his dolly haphazardly. And then he wiped out with one of my new nightstands. The drawers came out and the nightstand crashed on its front, on the concrete loading dock. He never said anything about it. He really needs some coaching. I gave the first man $20.

I let them know that I was ready early and they accommodated me. They loaded into my U-Haul trailer and even tied everything down. Definitely would use them again.

The company itself was communicative during the process. The moving day was not smooth. Marshall was great to work with but Luis was clearly going through something and would absolutely not listen to us. We were upfront with the movers that we wanted to prioritize the mattresses and couch because those were really the only things we couldn’t handle on our own. The mattresses were left until last. They removed furniture pads I had placed on items before loading. During the unloading process, they dropped every single box and small piece of furniture even after we told them that we would unload those items. Several items were scratched or damaged. Overall, I would not recommend them.

To be honest, I was a bit skeptical of the sheer number of very positive reviews. But, for my move, I must say Alliance Movers really did show why they are so highly rated on MovingHelp. Great communication, knew exactly about the UHaul Ubox process. And, while we each tried to mitigate some of the potential issues with the Uhaul Ubox storage site, they still managed to surprise us (Uhaul placed the wrong box on the trailer). Despite of the Uhaul storage site's mistake, Amin and Co. were determined to complete the move. After returning from the Uhaul site for a second time, the move was conducted very efficiently. I was particularly impressed with the skillful maneuvering of a fairly heavy reclining couch, especially getting into the apartment service elevator. Overall, it was a positive experience and I definitely recommend Alliance Movers.
