It's the crew was unorganized, and no one knew how to truck. The load was not secured properly, and things shifted.

This was my first experience using U-Haul one way rental with Moving Help and I was very very pleased with the process and the two young men from Helping Hands Movers that unloaded my daughter's belongings from the U-Haul truck. Both young men from Helping Hands were courteous and professional. The truck was unloaded quickly and with great care. I was pleasantly impressed! I highly recommend U-Haul Moving Help and Helping Hands' services!

I would not recommend. The move was more expensive, more exhausting, and more stressful because of Helping Hands. We used their crew for loading New Rochelle & another crew for unloading in Lehigh Valley, and both were negative experiences. We hired 3 movers for 9 am and said we'd pay an early moving fee to ensure they got there at 9 am. One mover arrived at 10 am. A second at 11 am. A third never came. What should have been a 3-4 hour move stretched to 8 hours, and they still didn't finish. After 5 pm, they said they had to leave, left items in our apartment, and worst - left items in the back of the building without telling us, so we did not know they weren't in the truck. The worst part is that they were using a contractor and his team, not their workers, despite us booking Helping Hands movers.

I would not recommend. Their crew was late for unloading in New Rochelle, and one person was missing from the crew we booked. Because of the delay, the truck didn't arrive at our new home until 9 pm. The company ensured we had movers at 9 pm, which was nice. But the movers sent were not very strong and struggled to lift items that my husband and the other movers were able to move alone. They left things on the ground level to avoid stairs, repeatedly dropped items, and banged furniture into our walls. My husband ended up carrying a heavy item to the basement himself after two movers couldn't manage it.

The two movers arrived on time and communication was generally adequate. However, there were several issues with execution and efficiency. Usable space in the truck’s attic area was not utilized, and the loading order felt somewhat disorganized. Despite an initial walkthrough, items were not always staged efficiently, and I was asked multiple times during the move what still needed to be loaded. One mover also took several personal phone calls during the job. While the move was completed within the allotted time, it came close to affecting our unloading schedule. Additionally, our washer was damaged during the move. The appliance dolly’s built-in straps were not used, and the washer tipped over at the doorway threshold, resulting in a dent. There is also concern for potential internal damage, as the unit has not yet been tested after the incident. Overall, they were polite and completed the job within the scheduled timeframe, but there were clear issues with efficiency, attenti

The moving team was great. Love them! But having a lot of difficulty of communicating with the coordinator agent. So it is a mixed feeling and I would stay away from them if possible.
