Same guys helped unload and the experience was just as bad as the loading. Probably worse! 1. They didn't bring the washer connections and didn't set up the washer or dryer! 2. Broke a switchplate in the house while placing the bed. 3. Took an extremely long time to unload everything into the basement. They didn't have to climb up any stairs at all and still took so long to move things! 4. The treadmill wouldn't fit through the door, and instead of being courteous, he tells my husband 'you break the wall, and we'll take the treadmill in'. Why do they have to be so mean and sarcastic? Can't they say the door opening is x inches and treadmill is x+y inches. Sorry, it won't fit. Talk about breaking down walls instead! We strongly recommend hiring professional movers who know what they are doing and are efficient.

We have moved several times; this was by far the WORST experience. 1. The movers showed up late. They did communicate that with me, though. 2. They walked through the house and knew exactly what needed to be loaded into the truck. They did not mention that the space was insufficient, nor did they finally load everything. We had to bring the u-haul back a second time and load it ourselves. 3. They loaded smaller things and left the heavier items behind and we had to specifically ask they to swap. Took up time and energy! 4. They didn't shrink wrap anything and all the files fell out of the file cabinet during unloading. 5. They were inefficient and slow. We had moved all the boxes; all they had to move was furniture. They took 3 hours to load approximately 20 large pieces and 10 small ones into the truck. Moving is stressful, and having help like this only worsens it! We'd have been better off without this help. And to think we paid so much just adds salt to the wound.
