Movers packed our pod very well and got almost everything in. They were peasant and respectful. However, they forgot to walk the house with me when they were done and forgot to load a wardrobe box and ladder into the pod. They also bumped a wall with a piece of furniture which took a chunk of drywall out and they failed to inform me. The chunk was missing but the fresh hole was there. Overall the movers were very good.

When originally talking to the dispatcher, I felt very rushed and was unable to give a full description of my request for my need. resulting in the moving help that showed up for the day being unprepared not having the correct equipment that they would need. Overall, the moving help guys were really professional and helpful and made things work with what they had.

Two of the movers were great. Really professional and did a nice job. But they brought an extra person (I only reserved two movers for three hours, from 9-12) who looked like he might have been a younger cousin or brother of one of the movers. It wasn't clear if he worked for the moving company or not. The younger guy dropped some of our boxes and our espresso machine broke. I'm not sure if other things were damaged, as we're still unpacking. At about 1030am, one of the movers talked to me and made it seem like they may need to stay later but they wouldn't charge me extra, but I had reserved movers until noon and they finished before then, so I don't really understand what the issue was. It seemed like they'd brought along the third mover to try to change the hours to two instead of three, but I'd rather have just had two movers, since the younger one wasn't super careful with our stuff. We already tipped the movers the day-of, so I'll leave the tip section on this form blank.

Having been in the military I have moved over 30 times and I have never had a bad experience until now. I witnessed the movers damage two items of furniture. I had safemove through Uhaul and have paid for this in the past with other moves but have never had to use it. I submitted a claim. Instead of admitting they damaged the furniture the moving company said they didn’t. Safemove would not accept my claim. This is despite me witnessing the damage and having pre and post pictures of the furniture. I will never move with this company. I believe they might also have a sister company (brother owned) as well on Uhaul that I will never move with either.
