I had a great experience working with Smooth Moves for my recent 1br move. Maurice and Warren were very efficient in loading and unloading all of my things. They took care with the items that I pointed out that needed special handling and basically handled everything while I spent time cleaning. We had a brief phone call the week before to work out the details and they kept in good communication on the morning of. FYI they did not bring their own hand carts and trucks (most movers on U-Haul don’t ). I supplied them myself. U-Haul let me book them as rentals but then told me they would not be available on my move day, so I sourced elsewhere. I also reserved 2 dozen moving blankets and had a roll of duct tape which came in handy. SM took care to wrap all of my furniture for protection and moved my huge mirror 40 x80 without any issue. Very happy with the service and would definitely recommend in future and use again.

Where do I begin? They showed up without tools and a dolly. They had an attitude the entire time, they asked zero questions, and due to the lack of tool, they didn’t even finish the job in the time given. Had they had tools, this would have been completed with time to spare. I’m incredibly disappointed and extremely frustrated.

They are not smooth move. They are trouble move. They arguing everything for anything. Was requested for 4 hours 2 movers and paid for that 4 hours but they worked 2-3 hours. They come without dolly or any equipment. They refused to move boxes upstairs, because they said they don't move upstairs. Just better hire other company. Worst experience!

What an amazing experience! Maurice help arrange for Chuck and Jon to come an hour early. They met us at the location and didn’t hesitate to get things done. They were efficient and we got everything moved into the apartment quickly. We are grateful for all of their help and won’t hesitate hiring them again! Thanks for all of your help!
