The lead employee was fantastic. He explained the timing of the move and arrival clearly, worked with us to find a time and quote that worked for our needs, and communicated with us throughout the move. Some of his employees, however, were somewhat careless with furniture and boxes. Their price and efficiency is great, but make sure you keep an eye on some of the employees and are comfortable providing instruction and real time feedback.

They were very fast, too fast. I had to tell them to slow down to not damage our furniture and the buildings paint. It didn’t appear like they wanted to slow down after I asked multiple times. I had booked 3 hours and they were done in 1.75 hours. It was apparent that they wanted to finish before the allotted time to go home early and get paid for the 3 hour job. I would have rather they took their time with our things Some supervision was required. The Pros, They were strong and capable, I had some heavy items and moved into a 3rd floor unit. I was thankful that they could handle the stairs

I hired Smooth Moves to move boxes and furniture between apartments. Smooth Moves communicated with me by phone call and text to schedule and confirm the move details. The two-person crew was friendly and professional. Smooth Moves told me that they did not have moving equipment such as dollies or hand trucks, so I borrowed two dollies from a friend. One of the dollies was lost in the course of the move - I believe that it was left behind in the loading dock. I contacted Smooth Moves twice about this but I never heard back. I had to purchase a replacement dolly.
