I booked Smooth Moves to load my U-Haul and they arrived on time to my apartment building. Unfortunately, during the process they broke my dresser and then lied about it saying it was already broken which it was not. They also broke a lamp, fan, and containers with the loading process. I reached out to the manager multiple times to see what the best next steps would be for reimbursement or insurance claim and they just stopped responding to my messages. Overall, this is a very unprofessional company and they made moving day even more stressful. I would not recommend booking with them.

Maurice and John were absolutely great. They were extremely 'smooth', great sense of humor, positive energy and worked extremely well together. The communication day of and leading up to moving day was exceptional. Totally recommend these two!!

We were so impressed by the speed and organization of our movers Darnell, Donzell, and Jon. They were so understanding when we had to tell them that Uhaul did not provide us the dollies we rented and paid for. They were so speedy getting everything moved even without the promised equipment and had our Uhaul trailer packed in under an hour.

DO NOT EVER go with Smooth Moves company. I paid over $400 to move from one studio to another and broke and damaged many of my belongings, including my bed, kitchen dishes, a pole flag, a storage cabinet.

I had issues to communicate and confirm the service at the beginning. But at the day, I was provided with the name of the helpers and contact and they arrive before the agreed time my building which was great. The load and unload was completed in 4 hours as expected.

I originally requested two movers, but only one guy showed up. Also had to provide a dolly myself. John was great. Very helpful. Stayed a little longer to help given the circumstances.
