The movers were very kind and funny, and they seemed to pack our belongings into the truck well. Except they did not use any of our packing blankets or ratchet straps. This resulted in absolutely nothing being tied down and our furniture was completely unprotected. Our short trip to pick up our tow resulted in everything flying to the back of our truck, which damaged all of our furniture. Two of our book shelves were completely destroyed (one brand new!), my top desk shelf was gone, a giant hole was punctured through the desktop, and everything has chips, scratches, and chunks missing. When I tried to reach out after finding this out, I heard nothing, even now after the move is over. We had to repack the truck ourselves before we left. They could have at least had the decency to apologize (or use the ratchet straps we offered them!!).
