They’re called UMovers because you end up moving yourself. Franklin was very accommodating. We had a last minute date and time change and they made sure a team showed up. That’s all the positive feedback I have. I already moved most items, so when the movers showed up, we had 15 bulky items for them to move. They showed up 40 minutes late and only moved 3 items (my father and I moved the rest). They damaged my walls, desk, stove, and the back panel of the fridge. They didn’t know how to use their equipment properly. It took them 45 minutes to move the fridge downstairs, during which I kept hearing the back of the fridge smacking each step as it went down. They dropped the stove (denting the bottom drawer) and didn’t even apologize or address it. Honestly, it was a terrible service. I let Franklin know immediately (during the move) and also afterwards. I fully regret paying for this service. Don’t use UMovers if you’re in Ottawa or Gatineau as you risk getting the same team as me.

What a great experience! Our movers were knowledgeable on how to best organize furniture and bins in our moving truck. They were professional and efficient. Worth the investment. Will use this service again in the future!
