Robert responded quickly when I booked Busy Bees to help my son load for my move to NC. His quote was reasonable. But when moving day arrived, Robert couldn’t make it for our 10am appt because his previous job was rained out. His ETA was first at noon, then 2pm, and finally arrived at 2;45pm. We would have preferred a realistic timetable, so my son could have arranged for another mover. My son had to do one-third of the work himself in order to get on the road at a reasonable hour. The delay set us back 4 hours and jeopardized the next day’s unload job in NC. Robert and his partner did hustle to finish quickly and packed a neat and safe truck. When we settled the bill, I was surprised Robert didn't offer a discount for the delay and amount of work my son already did. My advice is to seek assurances that any mover can meet your scheduled time. Perhaps there is some fine print in the agreement that I didn’t see, covering this possibility. But I will be sure to look next time.
