Family First Movers

Overall, the 2 movers were very nice and efficient when they came, but I had some inconveniences with this service. I scheduled my elevator from 10AM to 2PM for my building and paid 100 dollars for the elevator, and I let the movers know about that. We confirmed a week before the move that they would come at 10AM with the boxes. On the morning of the move at 8AM, they texted me that they were double booked by U Haul. They said they would come at 11 30AM after finishing their other job. I told them I had a flight to catch later that day, and they were aware. I waited until 12PM, and then they called to say they had gone to the wrong U Haul location to retrieve my boxes and had to go to another location. They ended up arriving a little before 3PM. While they were very nice and extremely fast and efficient, they unfortunately broke my floor lamp because it was being held at an angle. I am currently trying to obtain compensation, but I am not sure whether I will be reimbursed.

The moving team was polite, professional and efficient. They communicated with me very well before and during the unload. They unloaded 2 U-boxes for me and were very careful with everything. I would highly recommend using Family First Movers.

Keon was rude, I have to call a cop on him. My dresser got damaged, my TV is nonfuntional and router & modern damaged, my coffee mug broken during the move. They left most of the stuff unpacked and I have to hire someone to unpack my boxes.

I had to actually initiate contact in order to confirm the job. But they worked fast and efficiently. A little bit of infighting amongst the crew, but ours was a difficult job and they got it done.
