The Moving Help® Marketplace looked at the Top 10 states based off the U-Haul Growth Index and how many Service Providers are in each state. We thought we could take it a step further by analyzing the largest city in each state based on population. Moving Help also looked into the number of Moving Helpers in each city because finding help while moving cities shouldn’t be difficult.
Each city has a different number of labor-only movers because providers cover different parts of a major city. Let’s get to it.
Largest Cities in the Top 10 Growth States in 2024
If you don’t remember, the Top 10 Growth States in 2024 were the following:
- South Carolina
- Texas
- North Carolina
- Florida
- Tennessee
- Arizona
- Washington
- Indiana
- Utah
- Idaho
From those 10 states, we looked at the 2024 U.S. Census to find the largest city population wise in those 10 states, which are listed below.
