Beware!!!! One guy showed up in flip flops and was bossing the other guy around. We gave them plenty of moving blankets, which they did not use. My dining table, coffee table and sofas had major dings and now I will have to find some way to cover all the scratches. I wish I would have sent the guy home in flip flops but we were under pressure to hit the road to Texas. The other guy didn’t speak English and therefore could not communicate with the flip flop guy. I would never hire your movers again!

The guys from J & S were really lovely people, nice to chat to. However, they were over an hour late. They were scheduled for 8am, the first job of the day, and they rolled up just after 9. This was very stressful and set my whole day back. Move days are usually very carefully time managed and this didn't help. They dragged my dresser across my wood floors, didn't put the plastic sleeve on my mattress and then set it down on the ground outside, and I had a few things get slightly damaged in the move (I know this happens, not necessarily their fault. Again, they were lovely guys but the experience was pretty unprofessional and showing up an hour late really messed up my day and caused a lot of unnecessary stress.

Lovely people, not so lovely movers. They showed up 1.5 hours late and didn’t seem to actually care about ANY of the furniture. A vast majority of the furniture was not wrapped at all and was damaged. We were told, it’s easier to wrap it by the van, but then nothing was wrapped down there. A shelf on my bookshelf completely SHATTERED. The footboard of my metal bed frame is thoroughly scratched and I heard it CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG down the stairs as it was brought to the van. Metal lamps were thoroughly scratched and cannot be fixed. The mirror inside my childhood jewelry box was broken. Boxes were placed in the van UPSIDE DOWN???? Save yourself the heartbreak and choose someone that cares about your things!!!!!!

They appeared tired, and one of them was openly rude, complaining about back pain and the length of his shift. This behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable, especially given the circumstances of my move and my disabilities. Additionally, the movers struggled with the tasks at hand instead of providing the efficient and reliable service that I had expected. They made numerous complaints about the stairs and the difficulty of the job. Overall, my experience with J and S Moving was extremely unsatisfactory, and it fell far short of the level of service that I expected and paid for. Moving is already a stressful and challenging experience, and the additional complications caused by the company only added to the difficulties. As a customer, I deserve to receive the service that I was promised and paid for, and I hope they will take this feedback seriously and work to improve the quality of their services.
