Five Star Movers assisted me today with the first part of my move to the east coast, and I couldn't be happier with their service. From the first moment I scheduled with them, their communication was consistent and they went out of their way to make sure I had the necessary items for packing my items. The two movers who came to my residence were professional, helpful, friendly, and took interest in making sure all my items were loaded carefully and efficiently to maximize space. I appreciate everything from Five Star Movers, hopefully the company I use on the east coast will be just as professional!

Leo and Rouen(?) were excellent. Uhaul delivered my 2 containers a week and a half early. I contacted Leo to ask if he could move up my delivery and unload and he accommodated me for the upcoming weekend. Great flexibility and professionalism. Much appreciated. The unload was quick and they took care of my possessions as it was theirs.

After making the reservation they contacted me right away to make sure we had the details worked out. They were communicative about their arrival and were right on time with the boxes. They were speedy and made sure everything was put in the right place. They unloaded 2 Uboxes in 2 hours with minimal extra help. Overall great movers. The only thing that happened was they awkwardly carried an Ikea desk and it broke. Instead of apologizing or owning up they just said quote 'to never buy Ikea again'. It's fair that Ikea furniture is not the most sturdy but they are one of the largest furniture brands in the world for a reason and that desk had made it through three other moves no problem. Overall I would recommend them for future moves but communicate if there is anything precarious or requires special handling beforehand. 4.5 out of 5.

The movers did well as far as packing the ubox tight, but they did not properly handle the items. Blankets were not properly secured to my vulnerable items and this combined with rough handling when packing the box. I’m very worried about damage to come, but I won’t know until the box is unloaded later. They also chose to leave out my bed box spring after confirming with me that I wanted it included. The 2 guys seemed experienced, but not as committed to a safe careful move as I would expect from professionals.
