Per U-haul recommendation we hired two movers for four hours. One mover stated they were working purposefully slow to make us pay for overtime and this upset the other mover that was actually trying to help. This scamming mover also stated they had too short of arms to lift items. We had everything completed boxed and wrapped ready to go before they arrived. The scammer left mid move without telling the other mover and we got a call that he was actually fired. We were left with one mover to do the job and ending up having to pay him $250 in cash for him to be too weak to complete the job. I had to assist with half the move and I have epilepsy so this caused me suffering for days. I may have to even be hospitalized for this. The mover who stayed had to leave to grab move and my friend and neighbor had to help move my mattress because when the mover came back he was too weak to assist and all we did was pay him cash at that point. Left scammed and injured.
