Lawrence and his associate (I can't recall his name sadly) were texting me beforehand to verify time and location. They arrived early, were very professional, and got right to work. The loading on site and the unloading at my home were both done very quickly and with care for my belongings. On top of that, both gentlemen were enjoyable to chat with and had great attitudes. I would recommend them for anyone wanting help loading up and unloading trucks, trailers or vans. Black Pit Movers are a great company. Thanks so much!

Gold standard of moving. Having used various small movers here and there, guys that say these are heavier than usual, etc. Black Pit Moving are men. True men that lift things that may be heavy for us mere mortals, these men are Greek Gods that will lift your prized possessions with ease and glee. God bless them

Overall, unprofessional and messy. Started out rough with them dropping the only box labelled 'Fragile' from over 6 feet from the pod, breaking my espresso machine. Was very rough with my items -- I do not expect being very gentle, but boxes were half crushed by the end of their work. Did not come with tools (carts) to help transport the boxes to the elevator. Complained about how the elevator was far. Got stuck in the elevator because they did not load the elevator well. Used my restroom at the end when there was no soap or toilet paper, which I found gross, wish they had asked where the public restroom was.

Crew was not a bad group of guys. However, in the first five minutes of moving my PS5 was dropped. Mind you the box is small, and the truck is empty. They did not have the expertise of loading a box truck as was expected from previous reviews. I showed them the cushions, blankets, and any padding material so the items do not get damaged before they started moving my belongings. They did not use any of it to cushion the sharp edges or wood furniture. There were metal items shoved into wood. Wood furniture rubbing into more wood with no barrier. Many of my items were scratched, gouged, bent, and damaged. My filing cabinet and daughters crib drawers are completely broken. Packing was also poor in the sense many of the items were placed in there carelessly and made it to where a large number of items could not fit. I moved across country and had to buy another storage unit for the stuff they did not make room for. Being in the military I have had many movers; this is by far the worst.
