Speedy Movers sent 2 people to help load our stuff into the PODS container. Right off the bat I noticed they opened a new unopened box of shoulder straps. They were novices. I had to direct them every step of the way. They didn't understand simple things like boxes can go after furniture because it is easier to ship the left over boxes via fedex or UPS, TV's and other delicate items can be packed in between beds etc. They would get easily frustrated when we would ask them to move certain boxes out to make way for heavier boxes or any additional work. The best way to describe is they are just muscle men and not experienced movers by any means. We still ended up hiring them for an extra hour with myself and my wife helping all along (for 3+ hrs). Also gave them a healthy tip because they still lifted all the heavy stuff and helped to load it. I blame Speedy Movers for not sending in experienced movers.

I booked the company 1 week before my move date. I called the next morning for a start time and left a VM on their Google Voice service. I also sent a text. I called again the following afternoon. Someone answered. We confirmed a time. The day before my move I received via text 'Super sorry for the late text, we are available and the movers can get to to you by 1030-1100!' I replied that we already spoke and confirmed that timeframe so I was glad it still worked. The young guys that showed up were very polite. They were also slow. My 51 year old partner with bad back moved more items with a two wheeler on 1.5 flights of apartment stairs than they moved combined. They paused out on the sidewalk to talk a lot between loads. I heard a lot of tiktok chat and chats about girls. One guy fatigued pretty quick. They bounced off the walls in my new townhome stairwell multiple times. We let them go before the 2 hours were up. At least they moved my king sized bed and electric couch. We couldn't.

2nd mover didn’t work out and very tired. James was terrific, but couldn’t manage Samuel’s pace and I ended up stepping in and helped motivate Samuel and I helped unload the truck the last hour and a half. Because of the slower pace, the movers couldn’t problem solve 2 pieces of furniture which are still sitting in the garage. They needed to go up 2 flights of stairs.

Movers were friendly and professional only issue or i should say concern would be they arrive at 1.45 i paid for 2 hours and at 3 20 pm they said they had another job to get to .Most of the work was done so i didn't make an issue, but i believe my time should of bee up at 3.45pm I would use again though

Wish I was notified when person was running late. Moe was above and beyond exceptional! Knowledgable, able to tetris well. Everything arrived clean and unbroken. would recommend and use again!
