Derek is an absolute poor businessman and should not be used in any way. Avoid at all costs. Didnt communicate before the day of moving. On day of moving people showed up 2 hours late for load in. Then for load out only one of the 2 movers I paid for showed up forcing me to help move my stuff I had paid to have moved for me. When I brought these items up Derek promised several times over several days to give a refund before he cursed me out in text and then blocked me. I opened a case with Uhaul but they wont do anything and say it is between myself and the moving company. I would recommend avoiding Final Step even if they were only ones available. I would also avoid going through Uhaul for any of this as they did nothing and now it has to be a legal issue to get back what was promised from a guy who lies about things that are shown clearly in text messages. Absolute sham and poor poor business. Wish I could give negative stars.

The 2 mover arrived before their scheduled arrival time. They were prompt, friendly and professional. Their secretary communicated very well with me in regards to the scheduling. I booked them Saturday night I was surprised at how prompt and energetic they were considering it was a last minute request and they had a move before mine. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend this company.

They took a water break and came back high making my house stink. In 5 hours they moved 10 things and left damages in the walls. The supervisor was informed and did nothing. When 5 hours hit they left without finishing the job. I wouldn’t recommend them. Next day I had to hire other helpers to get the work done.
