Armstrong movers were excellent! They got a 20 foot truck loaded at my old address and unloaded at my new home 30 minutes away in just 3 hours. They were quick and excellent with the heavy furniture. I would highly recommend them.

Overall the experience was ok but only one of person (James) worked his full potential. It was because of him we were able to get move done in 6 hours else it would have taken even longer. The other 2 helpers were sluggish. One of them didn’t even want to go up the stairs to carry stuff.

Hired 2 movers for 5 hours. I underestimated the amount of time it would take. The company sent 2 additional movers to help out. With 1 hour left I received a phone call from the office that the movers estimated 3 additional hours with the assurance that if the time was less I would be refunded. I paid for 3 additional hours at the 4 person rate of 130 hr. One hour into the block, 2 of the movers left the job which should have reduced the hourly rate and was notated on the time sheet to which I have a copy of. At the end of the next hour the remaining 2 movers were finished with the job. So the actual bill should have been 130x1 hr and 90x1 hr for a total of 220,. I paid 390 and after 2 phone calls have never received my refund. Communication prior to moving day was good. Movers were polite and respectful but you could tell by amount of breaks, phone calls etc that they get paid by the hour vs the job. I would look to other companies before booking them.
