Hey my name is conte Hudson I have been a local mover for Charlotte for major company's for over 8yrs, I have decided to make my own business and potential be able to move all over the states we are recommended through every customer.
My review is mostly directed towards the organizer; his partner was very professional. When the organizer arrived at my apartment, he focused more on what he wouldn't move instead of knowing where all the items were in the apartment. After he arrived, my cat ran away, so I was trying to retrieve her while my mom and friend guided the movers. During the chaos, we forgot to point out a closet with stuff in it; the organizer refused to move anything in that closet because the 'truck was full'. When my mom mentioned that we were paying for 3 hours & that they could come back later to get the extra items, he said it was 'against the contract.' We were never shown a contract or special rules about these restrictions. The entire time he was moving stuff, he was on the phone complaining about my mom (while she was in earshot) & how he doesn't work for Uhaul. His partner tried to defuse the situation and we all apologized for the misunderstanding, but he was very rude, especially to my mom.

They were late which they let me know a couple hours before they were supposed to arrive, but they didn't arrive until 5pm, then rushed through the job and weren't helpful getting things to the right rooms. We paid for 2 hours, they were asking for the payment code before everything was off the truck (about an hour into the unloading) So we didn't feel we got our money's worth.

Conte started out ok however I believe due to him becoming exhausted from prior moves that day, his professionalism rate went from 100-45. His helper was 100 throughout the entire process. My professional advice to Conte would be Be that OVERCOMER you state in your title and your attitude will reflect the Amazing person you really are. Remember NEVER threated a customer as you did me. You are the business owner alway operate in Integrity young King. Be Encouraged and stay Blessed and dont forfiet your blessings due to personal frustrations. Allow God to HELP you OVERCOME PEACE BE STILL

Unloaded a storage unit onto a 26 foot truck with the entire contents of a home only to drive five hours after loading the truck to my new home. The entire contents had shifted to the back of the truck, breaking kitchen table, chairs, and multiple other items. Not how I wanted to begin my new home. Anyone would be happy
