It was disappointing that they changed the time to an earlier time. I was scheduled to get the truck at 10am and they showed up at 9am getting paid for an hour of doing nothing and then they left before unloading the truck because they scheduled another job for 12 noon. Very disappointing. Meanwhile UHaul messed up my reservation and I didn't get a truck until way after 10 am. The workers did a good job overall but the experience was extremely disappointing

The person I got in contact with was really nice and responsive. The problem however was with the movers. We had told them we were moving and needed their services to load the truck. When they arrived, we weren’t at home but told them to go ahead and start moving things outside. We got home over an hour after they had started, and they had only moved boxes (the lighter stuff) and NONE of the actual furniture! Talked to the manager and he gave us a bit more time to compensate for this. Still, of the heavy furniture items, they only brought out the bed’s base and couches. Left the mattress and fridges and a lot of other stuff. Even the stuff they loaded onto the truck, it wasn’t even arranged properly. We had to do the arranging ourselves and move things around because it looked like they were putting things in the truck just for the sake of it, knowing they wouldn’t stay until the end. I guess that’s partly on me for underestimating the time we would need to complete the packing.

I don't like to leave bad reviews. But Five Boroughs showed up two hours late, causing me to do much of the work myself. I had booked them for two jobs (two people for four total hours), but they only worked for two hours due to their lateness. They were very difficult to communicate with and when I told them I would provide one payment code and speak to movinghelp.com about the other, they sent over 125 texts to my phone (literally). Do yourself a favor and book somebody else.
