I paid for 2 guys for 4 hours to unload my truck. They finished unloading within the allotted time frame. In that respect, they did well. However, one of the movers was very pleasant, and the other not so much. I felt like there was some passive aggressiveness going on. He didn’t verbalize it, but his body language and facial expressions showed it. I did not appreciate that they kept banging the furniture around. They bumped it into walls, door frames, elevator doors. Sometimes they set things down roughly and even drop them a few times. At one point I was in the first floor hallway when I heard dragging of furniture. Instead of picking up my kitchen table, they were dragging it on the floor. If you’re looking for a couple of strong guys that will get the job done these guys are definitely that and I would recommend them for that. But if you want your furniture treated with care, I can’t recommend them in that respect.

We couldn't be happier with A Helping Hand Moving Service! They were extremely professional and communicative throughout the whole process. Dori called promptly after scheduling to coordinate all of the details live. On the day of the move, they came prepared with all of the moving equipment needed for our truck unload and storage unit load, and knew how to make the process most efficient while also showing utmost care for our personal belongings. They also were expert packers, and helped us fit all of our items into one storage unit vs. two, saving us money on our rent. We will definitely be using them again and will be recommending them to anyone that needs moving or packing assistance in the Syracuse area!
