I would hire these guys to move sandbags, but nothing at risk of breaking or scratching. The young guys had more brawn than brain. I had one extremely heavy box that I had labeled as such and pointed out as they took it out of the truck... which they then promptly put on the very top of a stack of lighter boxes. After correcting this, when they unloaded they again tossed it on the very top of a stack. They were banging things around, items repeatedly falling off of the moving carts as they tried to shove them into and out of the elevator, broke a lamp, scratched up some (wrapped) wood furniture a bit. Anyway, they were quickly done unloading things in under 80m and I sent them on their way. Wish they had slowed down a little and taken more care, it was obvious we would be done in well under 2 hours from the outset. Side Note - As had been communicated to me, they just showed up as hired muscle, no tools or carts or anything. This was fine as I had access to many carts and dollies.

We had three movers, they were fast, knowledgeable and very nice. They showed up early and got everything done so fast. Highly recommend to anyone moving and they’re worth every dollar

This is the review for the unload portion of my services. Again, they rushed without regard for anything. I had to run and grab the doors of my coffee table because he picked it up vertically, the doors slid out, and he was about to smash them. A corner of a piece of handmade furniture was crushed because they used it's tiny wheels on the ramp rather than picking it up. They broke the top piece off of my hutch because they were in too much of a hurry to stop and adjust their grip. They threw boxes into piles. We found boxes with fragile on top crushed underneath heavy boxes. Fortunately, we had packed things well. And they were there for about an hour of the three hours I paid for because, according to them, they were only hired to unload the truck and once that was done, they were done. And they offered twice to hire and pay them to come back and finish the next day because there was still stuff at the old house (5 minutes away) that they wouldn't help us load with the extra time.

The day started out great and went down hill fast. They were rushing through everything. Just throwing boxes around and picking up furniture without regard for doors and drawers coming open and hitting things. Then I made the worst discovery. I had hired them for 6 hours total in two set of three hours. How their company works, is that they will load and unload the specified truck as long as it was within the time I had paid for and that's it. When I informed them that's not how I paid for them, they said it didn't matter. I leaned on them until they did some more for me, like bringing up some extra stuff from the basement and loading my van, but they made it clear it was as a favor and not part of the contract and they left before the full time was complete.
