The move took almost 4 times as long as expected. The website said it should take 2-3 hours to load a 3 bedroom house. We booked for 2 hours since our previous load-outs took significantly less than an hour (for a 2 bedroom apartment) but anticipated it could take up to 3 hours. The helpers were also very confident that we would finish in 3 hours at most. Load out alone took 7.5 hours. Because the load-out took so long, they insisted they ride along to help with unloading. After unloading everything mostly into the living room and garage to save time, it had been a total of 11 hours. In the process, they broke or damaged several pieces of furniture and dented and scuffed walls. Our outdoor lawn storage bin was set directly on top of our nursery rocker which now smells like wet grass. Highly recommend paying for one of the slightly more expensive movers. You’ll save the money by the time alone. On the bright side, they arrived on time, and were nice. That’s about the only positives.
