I am writing to formally report an extremely unprofessional and distressing experience I had with the movers assigned to me The movers placed my bed upside down despite clear instructions. When I asked them to reposition it, they became aggressive and argumentative. Worse, they refused to help lift a heavy couch, and I was forced to do it on the other end, leading to back pain that is still bothering me. They said, It’s your stuff, you have to do it and help, which is unacceptable for a paid moving service. This was the worst moving experience I’ve had.

Not sure where the breakdown occurred, but Appaloosa Express seemed to have no idea that their services had be reserved and paid for, nor where the U-Box was delivered. I had received an estimated arrival time well in advance, but had to call, and no one seemed to be aware that the service was scheduled and paid for. Also, the payment was supposed to cover unloading assistance, which the driver seemed surprised to hear. In the end, he was friendly enough and did assist with some of the unloading. The disorganization, lateness, and lack of proactivity were pretty disappointing.

Lamont and team did a great job! They got all four of our pods delivered and unloaded in 2 trips and it took only about 4 hours (with an hour travel time in between!) The only minor complaint was coordination was a little ‘’iffy’’ In the beginning. But once they had the pods and delivered, it was perfection!

Great mover. Very careful and conscientious. Polite and friendly. My only frustration was prior to the move. I emailed to confirm a time, waited a week but receive no response. I texted to confirm a time, waited a few days but received no response. Eventually, I had to call to confirm a time. More responsiveness to this customer's request to set up meeting times would have been appreciated. Other than that, the day of the job went exceptionally well.
