They were almost an hour late. My dad and I worked out rears off, when they got there, there wasn’t much left to do. So we finished in an hr (2hrs were booked) then they tried to leave and I said so how do I pay for one hr since you were an hr late? They said I have to pay for two. So we asked if they would come to the apartment to unload the truck (which we didn’t originally plan on) and they agreed but stayed for 25 minutes and helped unload half the truck before demanding that we give them the code (I assume they had another job) completely ruined my leather armchair, dragging it down the ramp of the U-Haul. Ripped it up and tried to tell me it was already like that. I informed them it was BRAND NEW. They shrugged it off. Kept bumping into the wall of my brand new apartment (I’m the first tenant). So now I’ll have to pay for that too. Needless to say I didn’t tip them. If you’re trying to hire the cheapest available, expect damaged items &them to show up an hr late.
